Libia Bianibi

 Libia Bianibi is a Zapotec immigrant from Juchitan, Oaxaca. She has built a career in the nonprofit sector by advancing racial equity, ethical cultural exchange, and economic justice to support solutions to the challenges faced by marginalized communities, specifically the representation and inclusion of Indigenous peoples across sectors. She currently teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and serves as Deputy Director for Building Equity & Alignment for Environmental Justice. In the past she has worked for Gallery Weekend Mexico, Arts Alliance Illinois and has held roles in the Equity Advisory Committee for the City of Chicago, the Advisory Committee for We Will Chicago.

Libia Bianibi es una inmigrante zapoteca de Juchitán, Oaxaca. Ha desarrollado una carrera en el sector sin fines de lucro promoviendo la equidad racial, el intercambio cultural ético y la justicia económica para apoyar soluciones a los desafíos que enfrentan las comunidades marginadas, específicamente la representación e inclusión de los pueblos indígenas en todos los sectores. Actualmente enseña en la School of the Art Institute of Chicago y se desempeña como Directora Adjunta de Building Equity & Alignment for Environmental Justice.
