Frances Lee

Frances Lee is an artist, educator, and project manager living in Chicago. She is the Operations Director for the 2024-25 Lit & Luz Festival, overseeing staff, logistics, communications, and mission of the festival at large. 
Outside of her own studio practice she has worked closely with other artists to execute and present their work in galleries, museums and independent art spaces both in the U.S. and internationally. 
Lee is a member of Tiger Strikes Asteroid Chicago as well as a Lecturer in the Department of Art Theory & Practice at Northwestern University where she teaches painting.

Fuera de su propia práctica de estudio ha trabajado de cerca con otrxs artistas para ejecutar y presentar su propia obra en galerías, museos y espacios artísticos independientes tanto en Estados Unidos como internacionalmente.
Lee es miembro de Tiger Strikes Asteroid Chicago y profesora del Departamento de Teoría y Práctica del arte en la Northwestern University donde enseña pintura.
