Mariana Mejía

Mariana was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to Chicago to pursue a master's degree in Arts Administration and Policy at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Her experiences living and working in both cities have sparked her interest in connecting their creative networks. Mariana now works as an independent curator across both cities and teaches collections management at SAIC.

Mariana nació y creció en la Ciudad de México y se mudó a Chicago para cursar una maestría en Administración y Políticas del Arte en the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Sus experiencia viviendo y trabajando en ambas ciudades han despertado su interés en conectar sus redes creativas. Actualmente, Mariana trabaja como curadora independiente en ambas ciudades y da clases sobre gestión de archivos y colecciones en SAIC.
