The Only US Festival to Feature Contemporary Mexican Authors and Artists Presents More than a Dozen Events at Venues Throughout Chicago
"What makes the Lit & Luz festival unique is that it is a festival that seeks to break boundaries—boundaries between the artists and the writers of Mexico City, and the artists and writers in Chicago, along with the borders between languages and boundaries between genres … It is a festival that celebrates art in all its dimensions.” —Jazmina Barrera, 2021-22 Lit & Luz alum, Mexico City-based author of Linea Negra (trans. Christina MacSweeney), co-founder of Ediciones Antílope
